One key way of bringing our community together is through ‘experiences’. They help us to try, grow, be playful, share joy, struggles and passions and connect authentically.
This is why we call them experiences, and not ‘events’, as they always are intentional and invite you to immerse yourself. An experience can be centered around an incredibly wide range of things (just take a look at all the experiences that took place already) and each is unique in its own way. The essence is based in our shared values.
Get Involved!
An experience can be created by anyone – since everyone has something they are curious or passionate about, something they always wanted to try out, or share in with others. The WonderHouse itself is just the ‘soil’ or ‘canvas’ that Wonderers plant or paint on.
For hosts,
bringing an experience to life is an opportunity to support their own journey of growing, exploring, sharing, expressing themselves and creating community. It just takes a bit of courage, and is always very wonderful.
For Wonderers,
an experience allows them to be vulnerable, get out of their comfort zones and connect with others. Every Wonderer is also on a journey of creating their own experience(s) one day.
We strongly encourage creating communities around shared interests or exploration – that then come together on a more regular basis. For example we have the Meditation community meet Mondays, or monthly meetings of the Entrepreneurship or Photography communities.
Experience Sub-communities
Sub-communities have emerged from regular experiences. These are communities that have been developed to allow our wonderer community to continue having experiences with the same theme but different learnings regularly.
These sub-communities are led by the hosts who created the experience the first time but members of that community can take the responsibility to facilitate the experience as well.
We encourage you as the host to form a sub-community after an experience if you feel motivated and connected enough to your purpose and passion with the wonderers.
